St Johns Buildings win Great Manchester Run Corporate Challenge

We are pleased to announce that a team from St Johns Buildings have won the 2009 Great Manchester Run Corporate Challenge in the Medium Business Section. The team, organised by Family Clerk Ben McKay and running on behalf of the Genesis Appeal, pipped a Begbies Traynor team and an Arup team to 1st place.

New Recorders in Chambers

St Johns Buildings are pleased to announce that Patrick Thompson and Julian Taylor, both members of the Criminal team in Chambers, have been successful in the latest Recordership competition.

Patrick and Julian received their Royal Warrants in May and are now able to sit as Recorders on the Midland Circuit.

Great Manchester Run Success

72 members, staff and friends of St Johns Buildings successfully competed in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday the 17th of May.

Raising money for the Genesis Breast Cancer Appeal, the SJB team then enjoyed celebratory drinks in Chambers and compared times. So far almost £4000 has been raised for the appeal and donations can still be made at www.justgiving.com/stjohnsbuildings
