Alexandra was educated at Bolton School. She took a First in Law from Birmingham University where she was awarded the highest mark in Jurisprudence and the Henry Barber Law Scholarship.

Prior to joing St Johns Buildings, she was a member of Peel Court after completing her pupillage in there with Richard Pearce as her pupil superviser. She has a varied common law practice and has appeared in front of a wide range of tribunals. She represents both Claimants and Defendants in civil claims in the small and fast track both at trial and at the interlocutory stage.

Crime

Alexandra prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases including VHCCs. She has been led by senior members of chambers in complex criminal cases for both the Prosecution and the Defense.

She provides advice in conference and in writing and undertakes drafting in a wide range of civil cases, but particularly personal injury. Alex also has experience in Licensing, Health and Safety at work and Food Hygiene cases

Murder and Conspiracy to commit s.18, Possession of Firearms

Gang related shooting. 5 Defendants in all - one of which, having pleaded guilty, has given evidence against the others. Extremely complicated case involving over 5,000 pages of evidence. Extremely sensitive and difficult PII issues involved. Trial ongoing.

Rape and False Imprisonment

Serious allegation of multiple rape.
Acquitted after trial.

Conspiracy to Steal and Handle Stolen Goods

The Defendant was one of several Defendants alleged to have been involved in a conspiracy to steal blank British Passports.
