
Andrew specialises in family matters, having recently returned from 18 months as Head of Family Law at Mourant du Feu & Jeune, Jersey, one of the world's largest offshore law firms, where he specialised in all aspects of family law.
He has a particular interest in public law matters and regularly represents local authorities, parents and guardians, both in the UK and Jersey. He has also built up considerable experience in ancillary relief matters, most recently dealing with assets ranging from £5m - £15million.
He accepts instructions on a private or legally aided basis.
He is currently a member of "Resolution".
Andrew has a background in criminal and civil law, in which he continues to be instructed.

INQUEST - Kiernan and Greater Manchester Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police (July 2006)
Counsel for 3 police officers following incident where ambulance paramedics refused to take a man suffering from a brain haemmorhage to hospital due to his violence. Issues arose with regard to who should take the lead between the professionals at the scene and whether police officers should convey such a person to a hospital independent of the ambulance service. 8 recommendations made by HM Coroner to the Chief COnstable of GMP as a result. No negligence found on behalf of the police officers.

Counsel for Respondent father seeking return of his 5 children from the Appicant wife. Issues of abduction out of the jurisdiction (Pakistan), UK v Pakistani protocol. Final Order made with residence of 3 younger children to Respondent father (eldest two no long being of minority).
