Anne graduated from Bristol University and was admitted on to the roll as a solicitor in 1984. After completing her articles she became a police prosecutor and then a Crown Prosecutor upon the founding of the Crown Prosecution Service.
In 1989 Anne joined St Johns Buildings Chester (formerly Whitefriars Chambers) where she specialised in Family and Criminal work.
