David specialises in crime, both prosecution and defence. He also practices in the regulatory crime field, including representing sportsmen and women in regulatory matters asscoiated to their sports.

EXPERIENCE
David has a busy Crown Court practice, primarily encompassing violence, drugs and dishonesty. He is adept at mastering complex matters at short notice and is often led in very serious cases. He is also instructed in privately funded road traffic offences.
David is a specialist in both prosecuting and defending Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and appears in the Administrative court and Court of Appeal in this area.
Recent defence cases include R v Ryan (historic rape); R v O’Neil and others (gunpoint robbery) and R v Jermaine Bullen (S.18 imprisonment for public protection for serious assault on former school teacher) read more.

David is a member of the Sports Law team which provides representation at disciplinary hearings and regulatory matters. He also offers awareness seminars for sporting figures on staying within the law both in and outside the sporting area – conduct, public order, alcohol, driving, sexual behaviour and privacy.
