Elisabeth is a member of the Family and Employment groups within chambers, having successfully completed her pupillage under Clare Grundy.
Elisabeth studied law at the University of Manchester graduating in 2006, and completed the Bar Vocational Course in 2008 at Manchester Metropolitan University. In January 2009, she was awarded the JJ Powell Prize by Middle Temple, in recognition of her BVC results.

Elisabeth practises in all areas of family law, including public and private law children cases and ancillary relief cases.
During her pupillage she was exposed to a number of High Court cases, including assisting with skeleton arguments on a finding of fact public law case involving issues including oral evidence by a child, disclosure, capacity to conduct proceedings and other complex legal arguments and international adoption issues (including involvement in Re N (Recognition of Foreign Adoption Order) 2009 EWHC B29 Fam).
Elisabeth has conducted an appeal from FPC to the County Court on a private law children case, involving an out of hours application to the High Court at the RCJ (based on Article 6 rights). She is regularly instructed in public law children cases on behalf of parents and local authorities and private law children cases on contact and residence disputes.
Elisabeth also receives instructions in regard to injunction proceedings and in the Crown Court in regard to Public Interest Immunity matters.
Elisabeth practises in all areas of employment law, but predominantly in the area of unfair dismissal. She frequently gives written advice in respect of prospects of success and is regularly instructed to attend PHRs, CMDs and multi-day final hearings, on behalf of both Claimants and Respondent employers.
She recently appeared in the Employment Appeal Tribunal in the reported case of Parker Rhodes Hickmotts v Harvey UKEAT/045511.
She is a member of the Employment Law Association.
