Jessica is a specialist in family proceedings, specifically the law relating to children. She originally qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and practised exclusively in the area of family law from qualification. She became a member of the children panel in 1998. Jessica worked in private practice until 2004 when she set up practice on a freelance basis as an advocate with higher rights of audience. She transferred to the Bar in 2007.

PRACTICE DETAILS
Jessica specialises in proceedings under the Children Act both public and private. She has a particular interest in public law proceedings involving parents with learning difficulties or the representation of older children, whether as the subject of proceedings or as young parents.
She has significant experience of representing parents, local authorities and children in care proceedings.
