Jonathan is a specialist in family and personal injury work. In both these fields he is recognised for his approachability and ability to handle clients of many different types as well as the strength of his advocacy.

Jonathan's family practice covers a wide geographical area - in particular, he appears regularly in the courts of Staffordshire, Cheshire and the surrounding counties. Jonathan welcomes instructions on both a publicly and privately funded basis. He acts for parents, children and local authorities in public law cases. His experience includes representing NHS trusts in High Court disputes over medical treatment for children and representing CAFCASS Legal in the High Court in its special casework. His practice covers the full range of family work.

Jonathan's personal injury practice covers multi-track cases of high and moderate value as well as fast track work. He is instructed on behalf of both claimants and defandants.
