Her family law work also covers injunctive proceedings under the Family Law Act and she is happy to accept cases concerning the Protection from Harassment Act. Her experience in prosecuting in criminal cases at both Magistrate and Crown Court level has enabled her to further develop her advocacy skills. Louise has also appeared in the High Court at the Royal Courts of Justice defending an application for costs in a civil matter.

Whilst at 4 Brick Court, Louise assisted Stuart Fuller and Stephen Cobb QC in the preparation of Re B (Children) [2008] UKHL 35 for the House of Lords in the spring of 2008.

Louise has particular interest in working with clients in contact disputes and has experience mediating family cases.

Louise completed her foundation course in family mediation before being called to the Bar and has an interest in cases involving a pro active approach with practical solutions.
