About Chambers

In Manchester, Chambers is housed in three impressive early 19th Century buildings and centrally located on St John Street.

The ground floor is dedicated to office suites for support staff together with excellent conference facilities which feature video and telephone conferencing. There is well designed access for those with disabilities.

In Preston and in Chester, Chambers is housed in equally as impressive buildings, both of which have been recently refurbished to the highest standards.

In Liverpool, Chambers is based in India Buildings, one of Liverpool's most iconic buildings. Chambers is presently located close to the Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, but is in the process of developing its own premises on Vernon Street, where Chambers will expand its already client friendly facilities. Our Sheffield Chambers occupies 3 of the impressive victorian town houses on Paradise Square, in the very centre of the city.

We have a video link facility available for our clients' use at each of our premises. This enables conferences to take place anywhere in the UK and beyond.

Chambers is committed to investment in IT to ensure the latest innovations and applications are employed to improve the service to the client.

Access to all computer and telephone messaging can be made remotely from court or home.

Chambers operates a central collection point for all emails clerk@stjohnsbuildings.co.uk and uses members' addresses to distribute documents (including briefs and instructions) electronically where appropriate.

The paperwork that is generated within chambers is stored electronically 'behind' the case records to ensure access for clients at all times.
