Kevin Hargreaves was today sentenced to 12 years in prison, having been found guilty of the manslaughter of 3 of his children.
The jury rejected the prosecution’s murder charge on the basis that when Mr Hargreaves did not intend to kill or seriously harm anyone other than himself when starting a fire at his home, accepting the lesser charge of manslaughter.
